ORDERING STEPS

A) Prepare Your files

	1.	Photos should be in JPG format and properly rotated
	2	For Picture Shows, please number images in the order you want them to appear in the show - 001, 002 etc., then place them in a folder named “Show”.   (Photo management programs like Adobe Bridge make this easy.)
	3.	If sending music, please include the song file(s) in the “Show” folder.  We need approximately 1 song for every 35 images in the show.
	4.	If sending images for the Proof Organizer, please put them in a separate folder named “Proofs”. Optional: You can copy images into separate folders that represent the photo categories you want on the DVD – i.e, Ceremony, Reception, etc. The names you use for the folders will be the names we use for the category titles.
	5.	Sizing files: Our new upload tool automatically resizes images prior to upload.   This makes uploading files fast and easy. Important: The automatic resizing process is performed through your internet connection, so if uploading 1000 or more large files, it could be faster to resize images in Photoshop prior to uploading. Use our Photoshop Action to save time: Photoshop Action     Resizes files to 1200 X 1800 pixels.  The long edge of your photo is resized and the short edge is adjusted to maintain your original aspect ratio.      Click below to Download:      Resize Instructions (pdf)      Photoshop Action

B) Select a show on our “Shows” page then login and complete a simple order form.
C) Send us your photos via our secure FTP upload or mail a disk

Most orders are processed in 4-6 days and sent US Mail or UPS (your choice)

TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST OUT OF OUR SERVICE

You have the option of including a Picture show, and Proof Organizer on the DVD. Many photographers want to highlight their favorite images in the Picture Show and include all the session photos in the Proof Organizer. This is an affordable way to order your DVDs. If you prefer you may include all the images in the Picture Show and Proof Organizer. The choice is yours!

Your logo can be added to the DVD cover, and the face of the DVD. To get us your logo, just include it with your images on one of your uploads or on the disk you mail to us. We will keep it on file for your orders.

You may want to create and include your own title screen to add a personal touch to each show. It is easy to create in Photoshop. Just go to File – New – and select the size 720 X 540. Save your title screen as a JPG and send it with your photos.

When putting your images in order for the Picture Show, pay special attention the photos you begin and end the show with as these have the most impact. For example, it’s best to end a wedding show with a photo of the bride and groom rather that with a random reception photo.
