Q. What is your turnaround time for producing the Photo Showcase?
A. It takes us 4-6 business days. Please allow 2 weeks for your first order/ Free Trial order.
Q. What music do you use for the DVDs?
A.
We have over hundreds of different royalty-free songs on our website that fit all types of photo sessions. If you don’t find something you like, you are welcome to suggest other music.
Q. Will the DVDs play on a computer as well as a DVD player?
A.
Yes, if the computer has a DVD drive and DVD software installed. However the DVDs were designed for Television and look better on TV than on a computer.
Q. Is the DVD compatible with all DVD players?
A.
The DVD is compatible with 95% of DVD players on the market. Some older DVD players may not be able to read DVD-/+R’s (recordable DVD format).

How does the DVD protect my images from copying? |

1) We include a FBI warning at the start of every DVD which list the penalty for copyright violations. (Hey it’s worth a shot.)
2) The Proof Showcase DVD is copy protected by patented DVD technology that compresses the images into interlaced video. Typical print screen functionality won’t work on the DVD. Special software is needed to defeat the DVD copy protection.
3) Images are reduced to a quality that is optimal for a TV, but not for print. |
Q. Can the DVD itself be copied?
A.
If someone has the right equipment the DVD can be copied. We sell additional copies at a reasonable rate and we recommend that you do the same so that it doesn’t make sense for someone to go through the trouble of copying the DVD. We also print a photo from the session on the face of the DVD and present it in an attractive case.
Q. What are the advantages of DVDs over CDs
A. DVDs are designed for TV viewing, which is typically much larger than a computer screen. The TV is usually in a living room, which is a social setting compared to a computer which is usually in an office. Images on CD are more easily copied and may allow someone to capture high-resolution images.
